Getting My Feet Wet : #interviewafriend

article image placeholderUploaded by @BeAJourney83
So anyone that would like to be involved, I would like to ask you this. What makes you you? You could share something of childhood that shaped the way you became an adult. You can share something of present time that makes you you when you wake up in the morning and you when you close your eyes at night. I would also like to ask what is something that you share with anyone else on a daily basis that you've noticed think really deeply

#interviewafriend Please Join Me in my 1st (of many 🀞🏽) SwellCasts. Too often are we all consumed with the monotony of life. Let's break that. πŸ’œ

Because if we think we know everything and we start our day with only answers, I think that's a real limitation to what's out there for us to dive into. I think the opposite of depression is curiosity because it helps you open your eyes wider to surprise, to delight, and to people who have those things. So I would just say to somebody, connect to curiosity, connect to possibility. And be gentle. Be gentle with yourself

I became a life coach because I needed to settle the noise in my head about all the things that was going wrong in my life, the narratives. So what makes me mean now is that I'm very, very conscious of how I do things, what I think. I'm human. I also make mistakes, but I'm very much well aware to catch myself afterward much more quickly than I used to

It's like, well, are you asking me something? But I guess I would just tell a stranger that it's okay to feel the feelings you feel and don't be afraid to take time for yourself to allow things pass through you instead of trying to be this big statue in the world and have to play this role of life nonchalant this and this and that

So I appreciate the things that you've shared. And it is true, no matter what we do on our daily, how we help others, how we help ourselves is really how we should think. We really should stop sometimes and sit back and be like, you know what? I do this and this and this and this. But let me think about how else I can help someone else in another way, shape or form, or even help myself. So I appreciate your input

We think about that with our loved ones, our children, our friends. But to go to that level with a stranger, I mean, that takes some heart, in my opinion. So I appreciate that, and I appreciate you tapping in and look forward to seeing you're around. Swell. Bye
