In fact, the emphasis on academics has gone down as well. So the market is slightly more open and more recipient is not the right word. What I'm searching for is more open to receiving profiles and resumes, which not necessarily match the long tenure profiles that are existing in the company at this point in time. And that's not such a bad thing because from an organization standpoint you want a diversity of work experiences, rich culture

Tenure vs Change - how long should you soend in one role? #askanexpert #replyweek #work #bastalk

Are you able to bring value to the table? Is the restlessness because you aren't able to? So there are so many factors that come in and even feeling valued, do you still feel valued? So I'm not sure if in today's world this would still be applicable, but each to whose own, I guess. And again, it's the gig economy and I'm not sure if being a Superman might really be helpful

But then you're not doing a good job of trying to figure out the right role for yourself where you can take and execute for a long time. Because any job you take should be with the expectation that you will be there for five to ten years at a minimum if everything goes well. And you should not take a job if you don't see the signs, if you don't see the potential there to really be part of a success story and make that company successful through your contribution. Right
