I'm not saying that in a situation where your boyfriend is cheating and you do have to go through their phone, then you may have to do that to figure out that something is not okay. But at the end of the day, if you're in a perfectly happy, healthy relationship, no, you should not be doing that. There's another problem at hand. There's some trust issues that you all need to resolve. And the root of it is not through somebody's phone

And my friend and I agreed that we think that's kind of a red flag and can potentially point to shady behavior. Now I agree with that. But then there's also this other part of me where I don't want to go into a dating space and just be assuming that someone's trying to hide something from me. So I'm just curious what you think about that in relation to phone behavior?
