Then in 1984 came the album and a hit that would not only showcase Eddie's ability to make an earworm out of a keyboard riff. Also, it would live on for future generations in the film Ready Player One. And you simply didn't live through the summer of 84. If this wasn't its theme song in your mind, look, the reality is, well, I could go on and on and on delivering hit after hit that this man created for you. But I only have five minutes

Hey, happy Birthday, Joe. Happy 50th birthday. And thank you for this. What a great way to commemorate your birthday and the life of Eddie Van Halen. That was fantastic. The one thing that really resonated with me was the VH written on book covers. That's what you did in 7th and 8th grade. I had completely forgotten about that. But yes, that's what got me. Thank you for this. Happy birthday

Hey, thanks, Phil. You know, now it's gonna be hard to convince my girlfriend that I'm a younger boy toy, but I'm going to keep trying, you know? I mean, what else do I have to hold on to? I got I got a couple of years behind her, so I got to work some kind of an angle somehow
Happy, happy, happy Birthday, Joe. I got in right under the wire. Happy 50th. Welcome to your 50s. That was awesome, dude. I really like going down memory Lane. He will be missed. And yes, the The Panama was the theme. Definitely to my summer 1984. Good luck with the Boy Toy image. I don't know how much longer we will be able to pull that one off. Have a good night
Hi, Joe. It's curious. I hope you had or will have a very happy birthday and a happy every day because I have no idea on the planet at what time zone you're in anyway, I got something to give you. It's actually just a piece of advice. It could be good or bad. I don't know how you'll take it, but you are now entitled to joining line. Have a good one. Bye

I'm going to try to hold off on that for a little while. Curious if it's all the same to you and everyone else. Yeah, that just doesn't sound right in my head. Thanks for the birthday wishes

I still can remember the first time I heard Jump On the Radio. I was just totally mind blown with the keyboard riff that just comes on and then leaves you mesmerized. It's one of those memories that you never forget the first time I heard Jump On the Radio. Thanks for making me realize that and enjoy your birthday

Happy Birthday, Joe, and thank you for the wonderful tribute to Eddie Van Halen. I think he is one of those musicians that touched people globally. And he will be deeply missed. Thank you for this lovely tribute and a very happy birthday
Anyway, happy Birthday, dude. And 50 is awesome. But Eddie Van Halen, on this day, passing away is very sad. So we have happy. We have sad, just like anything else. And the one thing I'm happy about is you're in my life. So happy birthday, dude. And rest in peace, Eddie Van Halen, you will be missed

Hey, Joe, happy birthday. Happy 50th. Wish you many more years of happiness and fun on this planet. And I am an avid listener of your swells. I find them very entertaining, interesting and thoughtprovoking working. This is a very fitting tribute to Ad. And sadly, over the last few weeks, we've been saying goodbye to many musicians, Legends who have been part of our growing appears in India. We said by to SPB last week

Something to be on the cover of Tiger Beat. Do they still make Tiger Beat magazine? See what happens when you turn 50? Start talking about stuff that doesn't even exist anymore. Anyway, I would be like the Pullout Centerfold. I'm pretty sure about that. I think so

Yeah, you tell them, Joe, the 50 and overcrowd. We are not too old for this s***. Say it with me, Joe. We ain't too old for this s***. We're not too old for this s***. We can be boy toys well into our system. 70s, right? Joe
And so for metal fans around the world, this was probably the biggest blow that we've ever had, aside from Dio. And this is much bigger than Dio in terms of reach. I guess you would say I remember when I was growing up playing Guitar Hero, we literally painted one of our plastic guitars to look like the Frankenstrap just because it made us feel a little bit cooler. I don't know what to say, man

You also introduced Cobra Kai to my life, so I will be grateful to you always for that as well. Really looking forward to more conversations. And I hope you really, really soak in all the good stuff in your life right now. Happy birthday

Hey, Joe, thank you very much. Thank you very much for being here at the age of 50. That's a really big turn. Turning point, isn't it? Because up until 50, you build up your life, build up your ambitions from 50 on, your role is to bring other people on and prepare the next generation to take over from you. So I think it's fitting that I thank you for preparing me for something I didn't realize before

Late to the party, but early to the after party. Happy Birthday, Joe. Really great tribute. And maybe one day we'll be playing riffs of Your Morning, Joe, on our our greatest Hit, Something or other like little things you say and then talking and then playing little things you say and then talking, remember when Average Joe said this, Anyway, you're a great voice in our world. And I hope you have a great birthday

So, yeah, many people can relate to what you're saying. Yeah. Anyway, man, I hope you had a great day. Apart from Van Halen dying. Passing away yesterday was a sad day, man. Johnny Nash passed away, as you know, and I love his music. My parents, they loved him. Well, they had his music. He was part of my childhood

Thanks again to everybody for the birthday wishes and the Kinder words than I surely deserve. And Deborah, we don't need to visit the hard upon the world of a greatest hits collection of my dopey thoughts. It's the ramblings of a nitwit and I think everyone would agree one time is enough. Adam Me, I think. But again, thanks for the kind words and stuff

So I came across this interview with Gene Simmons talking about his time with Eddie Van Heel. And I thought I'd share it. Enjoy

So I too, have a link to share. If you're not familiar with the podcast, the session with Christian James Hand. He does at Monday mornings. He goes on the Heidi Frosty and Frank show out there on camera A-L-O-S. In Los Angeles. Don't go thinking, You're better than me, West Coasters. I just want to put that on the table right now, but he goes on there and he brings master recordings of some of the most famous songs of all time

Hey, Xiaomi, I just finished your Gene Simmons interview that you shared here. And that is the first time in all of my years that I have ever seen Jean Simmons like a human being. He clearly was rocked by this, and I've never heard him speak that way before. He usually is going on about his greatness and the greatness of Kiss, which I don't believe in. But he actually spoke like a real human being that lost someone that was important to him
