Jessie’s Girl 2 - Is This The First Song Sequel?

article image placeholderCoheed and Cambria - Jessie's Girl 2 (feat. Rick Springfield)
They go through the whole thing of how crazy she turned out to be. And as you can hear there, they kind of maintained that 80s power pop kind of vibe that Springfield had in a lot of his music. But yeah. So those three questions, if you want to answer them, if not just be like, hey, you know what? I didn't even hear this. I clicked play. I listened to you're stupid. I'm going to pretend I never heard it

Their CD was one of the first CDs that I saved up and bought with my own money when I was in middle school and keeping Secrets of Silent Earth being one of my favorite, if not my favorite albums by them. But yeah, onto your question. I don't believe that this has been done before, not to my knowledge, across several genres, but I know mostly metal and rock music and hiphop. So yeah, I don't think it's been done across those genres

And she had never been in a situation like that before. And the look of panic was hilarious. And once all the dudes realized she was older, they were like, oh, back off, back off. And they were actually very cool. And then I think she might even be more insulted because she was being treated with kid clubs and stuff. That's funny

And he just has a very distinct high pitched voice that I love. So don't say anything bad about it. But yeah, I remember that was a great moment. And that was her first metal show experience. So she got to see the swarms of walking balls of hair. I guess you could call it because all the people who had the longest hair you could ever imagine. And the Jean jacket vests, there were a few of with the patches all over them

Interesting! But not the first ever song sequel...

Joe, I'm gonna check this song out. I remember that song from my teenage years, but I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you are you seriously wanting to know whether this is the first sequel song? I mean, do we know not remember? Let's twist again like we did last summer. Chevy Checker doing a sequel to his own song. David Bowie. Ashes to Ashes doing a sequel to Major Tom. I mean, Space already

Andrew Gold and the Cars

I had Boston radio stations. The cars were from Boston, and they were played heavily. Jay Giles was paid Boston Aerosmith. They were all played really heavily just in your face, just all the time on the radio. And I think for that reason, I just really always sought to change the station. And I still don't like some of other later works

Well, don't forget Trapped In the Closet by R. Kelly. That had what about a thousand sequels? So. But yeah, that's but that song there that you just that was Whack. I mean, compared to the first Desk Girl that was Whack Thumbs Down for me
