Does Borat Need To Choke A Zuck?

But more specifically, Mark Zuckerberg's refusal to do anything about the misinformation and downright hate speech that is so prevalent on his platform, hiding behind the excuse of free speech as if he's a government entity that is somehow obligated to give a platform to these voices. And so I want to play you a clip of what Cohen was saying. If Facebook were around in the 1930s, it would have allowed Hitler to post 32nd ads on his solution to the Jewish problem

They weren't really like how we consider a hacker or somebody that gets into your computer. And, well, they was on their platform watching us. And they know that hacking they call that hacking. So that was interesting. And, yeah, it's going to be difficult to get the ball rolling on a massive scale of watching what people do. It sounds almost impossible. But I do agree that it has to be done, man

It seems like we've been bred and conditioned to love controversy and conflict because it seems like that's really what the whole country is based on. So it's not really surprising that it's just permeated every aspect of life in society. But if there's a kind of tongue in cheek, I know, but you asked if there was any positive benefits of social media. I think so. Communication, because nowadays you can. And I mean, just generally on the Internet, period

Now I had deleted it because it sounded on my end. Messed up. So I deleted it. I'll resend it to you, but it was basically just about, you know, don't. Don't feed the troll man, you know, I don't know. I think he's still trolling

@AverageJoe. @Mtwadamela

My Internet life, my experience of the Internet is audio platforms. So, yeah, I'm doing it backwards. So I got a weird perspective. When it comes to the Internet, I have gone through everything. Everybody else has gone through the trolling, other dating online, all that s***. I've gone through it on the audio platform. So, yeah, I'm weird on the Internet like that

It doesn't surprise me that the owners of YouTube or Facebook or whatever, they have political views. I'm sure they got political views and just a worldview, period. And so if it's on their platform, people will say, hey, I'm tolerant of this or that, but even if you have kids and I know it's maybe kind of a bad analogy. But when you have kids as the parent, you have to lay the law down

So Average Joe, I started watching The Social Dilemma, and I have to say, I didn't know it was a direct follow up to The Binge. Really weird. The tone is incredibly different, but I'm liking it

Yeah. You know, Taylor, it's funny. I actually said the same thing. I saw him back to back in the two things I watched and, you know, it's weird. I felt like the script driven stuff in The Social Dilemma started starts to kind of take over a little bit. I don't know. But then it kind of normalized out again. It was like there was two halves to that dock

Hey, poker man. I guess a happy belated birthday. And happy birthdays to to all everybody else. You seem to be in a house full of birth birthdays right now. So, yeah, happy birthday. It to everybody, to everyone else. I was thinking about this. I went out to get some pizza with the woman, and I was thinking about the comments we listened on the way in the car. It almost becomes like a chicken and the egg thing, right?

Well, excellent topic. And it's not just Facebook, it's Twitter, YouTube in a big way. People end up in a bubble in YouTube, and you don't know what I'm the bubble you get in is all you're ever going to see. So if you're a Trump supporter, let's see, say, and you don't like wearing masks or you're going to see tons of videos about how COVID is a hoax, how masks don't help anything

Joe, thank you for the birthday wishes. My mom says thank you as well. And protect. So what you're saying is protection. There's really no hope. We are just evil people who just keep getting better at being s*** as the technology gets better. Right? So we're just getting better at being s***** with newer technology. Yeah

Educate yourselves, sheep. And then you watch these videos and in the videos, this is other same thing that people are yelling, and it completely escapes them that they are now the follower and they're followers of random people, like not even real legitimate people. You have no idea who makes these videos and why, but that to them makes them more educated than people listening to world health leaders. It's kind of even more interesting now

Man, I redone this swell, like, ten times already trying to get right with what I want to say. And I keep every time I start saying something, then I start thinking. I say, oh, no, that's I'm just going to agree with Pokemon. Yes, society technology is getting more advanced as society as a whole gets meaner, stupider and less willing to think for ourselves. We are willing because, see, this is all the automation. Oh, my goodness

Yeah, you make a good point listening to you. I was immediately thinking about religion, right? Once upon a time, if you question the narrative of the religion, you could be put to death, right? They were not going to have any kind of chatter, any buzz that. Hey, maybe this isn't legit. We're not going to have that. And obviously it became less severe over time

It's L-I-G-A-R-E. That means to Thai unite or yoke, as well as the Greek term Legion, L-E-G-E-I-N. And that corresponds to logic and law. So it's obvious other people who compose that word, they had in mind that some type of system that on the basis of logic and law, reunited elements that had been illegitimately separated. I think that's the basis, the beginning and the basis of our dependency, especially in this country, for most people, because the present inheritors of that term
