Rage in the Age of Covid

But I can feel it. I can feel it bubbling up each time that I see another self centered a****** not wearing a mask or a party of people like the people in the house next door right now are having without Mark or without social distancing. What the f*** is wrong with you people? The level of selfishness enrages me. We have over 5.6 million cases of COVID in the United States, 175,000 deaths

In the age of the #Coronavirus , is it too much to ask that people wear #masks and practice #socialdistanxing ?

What if there's a chance that it does, even if you believed? I'm not sure about this. Some experts say it helps. Some experts, Ray, it makes no difference. But if there's a small chance that it will help your situation and everybody else's situation, wouldn't you just do it anyway? That's my opinion

However, along the way, I think that we have lost our soul and our morals in regards to the fact that number one, no one makes it alone and that we are a community of people. It's not all about you. It's also about your neighbor. And I really feel like we have really lost that. And if nothing else, the pandemic has just shined the light in the Mark place. It is a reminder of how self centered this country really is
@SeekingPlumb

It defies logic, but... resistance to change is sort of a human hallmark.

It defies all logic to me. There are so many things that we're told we must do, whether we like it or not, whether it's for legal reasons or in order to get serviced at some sort of business. Right. And we do those things we may not want to, but here I almost feel like it's a knee jerk response initially, like, how dare you tell me to do something different?

Where’s the empathy? @SeekingPlumb @GeorgieDee

Oh, yeah. It's a Phi's logic. I think the thing that bothers me more, though, is just the lack of empathy, caring and concern and compassion that even that might not Newt chance, right? I mean, the science is still developing. We only know what we know. So even if the chance that this mask saves or protects one person, why shouldn't that be enough? I just don't understand the thinking. Yeah
@SeekingPlumb

Who would have thought....

Right now, we're seeing huge evidence of that with extreme capitalism, just like in the past in history, we've seen the same with extreme socialism. So anyway

That's hilarious, but I'm wondering, does that audio comment spring up in the middle of your cast when I heard you say that word or does it appear at the end? I'm not sure if these bells and whistles and buttons
@SeekingPlumb

Solution!! (jk)

Okay, brilliant observation, Georgie. I love it. I have the perfect solution. Okay. Joking here, but they could have a mask that has a perfect representation of the bottom half of their face. I mean, come on, people. It's not that hard. Push mask on

Oh yes, not my idea at all. lol

I love it. No, it was definitely not my idea. I had seen these masks elsewhere, but every time I see them, it's like this deformed malformed version of the bottom half of the person's face. And it looks more more cartoonish. And actually, now what's the word I'm looking for? Caricature. That's what it looks like. Rather than so if they could get them to look more realistic, maybe. But I I'll let somebody else invest in it

I will say this. I have developed a bit of a mask problem in that I keep buying them. So I have quite a variety now, I've quite a variety of masks. Hey, it does help a little bit when you can say which one do I feel goes with my vibe today? And of course, it helps in the rotation of the Washington. Bye
@SeekingPlumb

May we all be mask collectors!! 😆😷

And then I found out that completely defeats the purpose and lets everything come right out that vent. I don't want to do that. That said, I could see it being very easy and kind of fun of picking up more patterns. But, you know, in the beginning, I didn't want any patterns because I found that when I saw them on other people, I would just end up staring at their mask instead of their eyes

Shake Hug Kiss

I know it's odd my method, but handshaking just transferred so many germs, and I won't do it. I will not do it. This guy on Thursday night asked me if he could have a kiss instead. Disgusting

Oh, look, that's not even the extent of it. I heard pray tell of these people through my friend. They were a couple, and she described them as she has lots of fetishes. So does he. And he's a bit of a predator. She was a tiny little Asian Lady, and he was this really tall Australian guy. So I had a little bit of background on them. And then I met them. But they don't know a thing about me

@Marks-Words unwelcome ignorance

Hey, Mark, it's Bernie in Ireland. I think it's misplaced personal Liberty, a little bit of aggression and just dumb ignorance that makes people do what you're talking about. When your smell was playing, we were in a hardware shop and a family of four was following up less than 6ft away without Mass. We talked to the cashier. Now, this isn't that a rule of Mass going right in the shop? That's the Irish rule. At least they said, yeah

I mean, I see the lack of enforcement all over the place for a variety of reasons. People don't like confrontation, but also for the reasons that Ray was speaking of is that you just don't know. Well, you know how it is in the United States. You don't know because people are some people have been on the edge a long time, and this might tip them over

I mean, he has exposed every bit of the disgusting behavior that was existing in this country that perhaps some of us, I wouldn't say, are necessarily blind to its existence, but perhaps ignorant to the level of the existence. At least I can speak for myself in that regard. As much as I knew that this country had a lot of ignorant people, I did not realize the volume or to what extent that ignorance. Well, you know what I'm saying?

@GeorgieDee @AskMarkWard #wearamask

I have a very small bubble where I see three people outside of my household, and it's only once a week, and I've still even felt some guilt for that. But my thoughts on why they're choosing to not do it is out of fear because it's admitting that there's a problem. And like Georgie D has said, taking away some sort of blanketed phrase of freedom that they like to spot. I'm not sure really where that comes from
@Katey8472
Katey Kurzawa
@Katey8472 · 1:43
So some of the people I can't blame because of their ignorance, they don't trust the sources. And I understand that because our government didn't come out with a quick response, and we've been going back and forth with what we consider facts and changing guidelines, and we don't have a plan altogether. And I think that's just going to create so much more division and it will continue to divide us as long as we can't collectively come up with a plan to mandate a Mark

U cant possibly think a flimsy cloth stops an air born virus-Wheres trumps?

They're suffocating you by making you wear a mask. You're a healthy human being that has the ability to heal yourself. We've survived thousands upon thousands of years doing it. And you think that some 19th version of COVID is going to kill us now? No, swine flu didn't wipe us out. It's not going to. They want you to live in fear, and that's what they're doing. They're pumping you full of fear so they can strip away your freedom

I don't think that anybody should be putting anybody down for their choices in regards to what they're doing. I think everybody has an initial reaction, but I think we need to get over that and just come together and accept each other for each other's decisions. But I do think that we need to start making more collective decisions because they just don't think that division is good by any means

Some info on The Flu in 2018-2019. @JohnnyBaldwin

But in a short amount of time, COVID is a bit more deadly than what happened in 2018 and 19. Certainly. Now the Spanish flu in the early 19 hundreds. That was very lethal. That was catastrophic. And there's photographs of people in that time trying to protect themselves. And guess what they are wearing face mask. So is face mask 100% preventable from catching COVID-19? Certainly not. Is a condom 100% protected from catching STDs?
@JohnnyBaldwin

So I think it's got a little bit one up on the coveted 19 here. But these numbers have not been proven. And I know that they're falsified because of what I stated earlier. And those people are real. And those people did not ever get tests. But yet somehow they're getting certified letters in the mail saying that they do have it. Thank you. Bye

So I can definitely relate to this feeling. Like, in my home, I have my baby here, and I I would have to constantly tell the super when he visits Tiffany like, something to put on a mask. I've actually handed him a mask at one point. And then last time I asked him, Where's your mask? You should be wearing a Mark. He says it's in his pocket. I said, Well, he needs to put it on

@Katey8472, multiple mitigation measures, not 100% effective but worth it?

I think 100% protective measures are unrealistic, but just because a condom is not 100% effective is not a good argument to say, let's just not use condoms. They're not effective. No point. I think that's a little ludicrous, but do you, as a health care worker, believe that it is worth it to at least combine our multiple mitigation measures, being a claws mask, social distancing, and being in well ventilated spaces or does not inside confined spaces with multiple other people?

Now we have the ones that do have a valve so that you can breathe in and out. If you're going to be utilizing this mask for long periods of time, we also have 95 masks that don't have a valve, but of course, those can be a little bit more uncomfortable. Early on, we had the knowledge that the virus would be spread by potentially aerosols or large and small droplets

So I understand why there were many reasons to do so, but I don't think that it was right to mislead the public and still continue to do that. And I'm glad that more information is coming out. It'll just take a while for that full truth. And I think it's just because there are so many different people across the board that are just not in the same page. There's not any unity going on
