Is Social Media taking a toll on your health ?

I'm so done. I just want to close my eyes and listen to something we have Spotify for podcast. And now that with Spellcast, I'm enjoying this app so much that I keep posting here now and then. And I completely love the transition of coming from Instagram to Swell. What are your thoughts on social media? How do you think is it consuming you? Because I feel I have a small example for you. In case you're wondering, what am I talking about?

But as a technology, I think social tech is if you're a creative, it's the greatest time ever in the history of humans, of being a creator and having a way of your self expression and sharing that with a large number of people or a small number of people. Again, you have the choice. Do you want interacting with loads of people or are you happy to keep it small and just hang out with a handful of people on your various social media channels?

And I think it really comes down to what you do with social media. If it is having an impact on your mental health, you have to restrict how much time you spend on it or just delete it entirely. I only use Twitter to really keep up with the news, and I use Instagram to keep up with people that I like, and I think that's fine. I think that's really the only way I would want to use social media

So there's really not any sort of chance for you to see something like news or a photograph or a story or some comment that you may not want to see if you begin to, I guess, sense that maybe a swell is going in a different direction that you don't want it to go or you don't want to listen to. You can simply stop and then just go to a different swell with other social media is not really like that

@soulcruzer

Hey, I love listening to the positive aspect about me, frustrating about social media and just ranting about it. I completely agree on us on how to let all of these consumers and rightly said, I need to understand what to follow, what to listen to, what to not do. And in case it's disturbing my mental health just quickly unfollow. And it's just like a click of a button that controls your info, higher Mindset game and what you consume

Wow. I honestly didn't expect these positive responses now that I've got them, I have like, a clear picture of how to restrict myself and how to restrict the time means I'm going to do that for sure. I'm going to restrict consciously on the time that I use social media and make sure I follow only those people who are helping me grow and not affecting my mental health

@Professor42

Yeah. I loved your username, professor 42. So I completely agree with you. Take that's why I joined. Well, because it's about talking to people across different regions, across time zones. And it's fun to have a conversation. I don't know which part of the world you decide, and we're having a conversation, a meaningful conversation. So that's something that I really loved about this app

@Dominique

I completely agree with you. It depends on how much time I spend it and spend on social media, and if it's affecting my mental health and depreciating it, then I definitely should take a call on how to not let that happen because like I said, I am a person who is making a living out of social media, and I can't be letting it affect me mentally, finding ways to cope up with this

It's done a lot of great things for me, but at the same time, it's given me a lot of chaos, and I've lost friends because of it. I would say through and through. Social media is probably one of the greatest inventions man has ever made. Because for the first time time, you really, truly get to be connected with everyone across the globe

Glad to hear we are on the same page @FryedOreo

But every person calls themselves an influencer in the Bio, Instagram or Twitter, and it kind of makes me rethink about the definition of what an influencer is while talking to you. Honestly, I'm thinking about the next well on discussing about do you really believe in influenza on social media? Let's do this anyway. Thank you so much for responding. And I'm glad that we could connect on a Social Miller line and they're on the same page
