The National Electrical Mobility Mission Plan 2020 was launched the Government of India in year 2012 with the aim of providing the national fuel security to the promotion of hybrid and electric vehicles. Auto industry contributes 22% to the manufacturing of GDP from the help of new manufacturing policy. The contribution of manufacturing and overall economy will increase 25% by the year 2022. The National Electrical Mobility Mission Plans target 30% of EV penetration in India by 2030

Apart from that, it will be extremely expensive to just get someone to swap the battery. It will not be as simple as swapping the battery of remote, the TV remote or something like that. It will not be so very easy. It will be definitely difficult because vehicles run at fast speeds and that will require better connections and much more technical challenges will be faced
