And this is more like I'm talking about protocols of how you train the AI to recognize facts so that it isn't in any way influence one way or the other, and the idea that I propose is, in the end, the user you shouldn't actually be filtering stuff from the user ever. If anything, you should decorate as well or annotate it with stuff like whether it is fact or not to all end. Courtesy

We want to understand more and we want to really grow ourselves. But if you really look at what the problem with social media these days is from these Echo Chambers or just how hyper partisan this environment has become, there are a whole bunch of people who want to conveniently overlook science to those people. These controls mean nothing, right? They mean nothing for them. It's just like this is somebody I don't agree with, trying to influence me and trying to tell me lies

#human-intelligence

And on the other side, you find factual data saying this is his criminal record. He was charged with armed robbery and he went served time for armed robbery, served time for cocaine possession, he was under the influence of XYZ drugs and so on. And you can look at all this and you can argue is factual because they're all indicating showing you videos of actual things that are happening, showing you data taken out of actual records

And as much as people think it's not going to happen, it will happen. The problem is ourselves. We as humans are very flawed beings and we create so many problems that we are going to have to look to AI to solve our problems, and it will give rise to superhuman intelligence in AI. Just to be clear, this is my belief and I'm not going to assert these as facts in order to support my case for where Ali is

I mean, you have big data and not just in the quantity of the number of items, but also in the quantity of the attributes and how they relate to each other. Right. I think it is definitely possible. And that's where I think the innovation really is. And that is what I've been always hitting on. It's not about just using AI as a checkbox to solve this problem, but to improve and invest in AI training and how we train this

Shamanarish Hi. Sorry to be so long and responding. I have only a second to leave a quick note saying I look forward to listening to the comments in detail and responding soon off to a socially distant birthday party. For now, more soon

I think that will be extremely difficult to pull off, but maybe not impossible to make some progress on, because in the Internet, I think there are degrees of objective alignment around things, but I don't think bright lines about truth and falsehood are practically achievable in a social media context that in itself could be a long conversation. But there you have it

Forking a swell :)

So while you're right about product design, discussions can't really happen well in person. But the example shows that you can come up with good ideas and influence a product, even in this kind of a format as well. So thank you for that. Evelyn. Moving on to the main kind of the big question and the gauntlet that you threw out there. Let me reply to that in a separate in case it is fault. So I'll be right back

Picking up the gauntlet :)

So to respond to the gauntlet that David threw about does cans well make a difference by kind of changing the nature of social media discourse and how people interact and kind of really fundamentally changing something out there. I think the short answer is I believe, yes, but not the way we have been talking about it so far. I think Shami has some great points about using AI and trying to kind of really make things fact based

How do we go about from extracting facts from that? I do not know honestly. So maybe my solution might not work, but regardless, I would love to see us somewhat in that. And I agree with you on social media being a powerful tool to really start discussions and everything. And I want to kind of just touch up on the evolution of social media when Facebook came about. That's how I viewed Facebook
