Why quantum entanglement - "spooky action at a distance" - does not mean faster than light communication

article image placeholderEven with quantum entanglement, there's no faster-than-light communication
The result of quantum mechanical measurements are always random, even with quantum entanglement. That is true, and there's simply no way to short circuit that and start communicating faster than the speed of light. So, while on one level it may seem disappointing, but I actually would have been more worried if the opposite was true. Quantum physics is the best representation of our physical reality. Anything that would break its fundamental tenets and its inherent randomness would have shaken my understanding of it and the universe. Right?

And just one more thing I wanted to quickly add. This particular swell here is part of my hashtag the curious mind series. So if you like it, you may, like the others, have done this series as well. Just tap on that hashtag or search for Hashtag The Curious Mind on Swell, and you'll find the rest of my post on it
