How many alien civilizations got annhilated in this gamma ray blast?

article image placeholderThe Brightest Gamma-Ray Burst Ever Recorded Rattled Earth’s Atmosphere
A few days back, a massive camouflage burst was observed by astronomers. I've added a link to Scientific American article about it. There are some really amazing things about this event. One is that the amount of energy released is huge. In a few seconds, that birth releases more energy than our sun will kind of release in its whole 12 billion year lifespan. The mind boggles at that scale. Right. This event happened almost 2 billion light years away

When we get there, metaphorically speaking of course, then we will I mean then automatically there swell be that much more interest the results will be within reach and it will be accelerated as has been the case in historic trends. If you see if you are sporting analogy, the four minute mile, the sub four minute mile took forever to happen. But once it was breached, then the records kept on being challenged, broken and better far more quicker than ever

The enormity of existence. And in existence is something that I think we cannot even fathom, right? 2 billion light years. That is so far. That is so far. And the fact that, as you rightly pointed out, the fact that we were able to get information about something of this source, it's just hauntingly brilliant, isn't it?
