Letters to my son - Letter 1 (year 2020) motherhood gratitude forever - Part 2

No, you are not a perfect son, and neither am I a perfect mother. But who wants perfection? I would rather have an imperfectly, beautiful and messy relationship that is natural than a rigid, plastic, perfect one. So on this day, I write this to you to let you know, before I forget, or it's too late, that you made the mother in me. And for that one reason alone, you shall always, always remain my most special boy

It actually teaches you how to love yourself first, then only you can love your child back. So it was a beautiful way of expressing and I just loved it. And I could actually relate to what you said. That all kinds of bumps that even I go through ups and downs in my life because my son is also going through a teenage phase and I know how difficult sometimes it gets to understand tan him, to handle him. And it was beautiful listening to you
