Thoughts on diwali crackers

article image placeholderUploaded by @Anushaa1
Hi guys. So welcome back to myself. So as Duali is approaching, I would be talking about one specific thing that I think all our school lives we have had we have been told to make posters, write slogan, writing conditions, say speeches and all. I'll be talking about crackers now, obviously, when we were kids, we were quite excited to let the Foljahi and the Anar or the Chakra, the rocket and the Sutton bombs and everything

Stop bursting crackers, it's not that hard.

It's about the yards and all of that. And it's a festival of you don't have to burst crackers to celebrate the Valley. It's more of a religious occasion for several people. It's more of a family bonding meeting, friends, celebrating with the people you love and celebrating with the people you have a relation with. So boosting crackers is not something that is required to celebrate this festival. And I just want to talk

But because it's a festival, it's my request to all of you that make it happy for everyone and make it happy for a lot more years than just a few seconds. So just because it's a festival of lights, there are a lot more ways of celebrating it. You have lanterns, you have DIY, you have so many other ways. You have lights. You don't really need the crackers to create lights on that day. So be conscious enough of what you do

I completely relate with what anushaa had to say about crackers and how you know it affects the stray animals. I myself have stopped boasting crackers since the 10th grade after seeing think it affects not only our environment but also the stray animals and not only just dogs, but it also affects the birds around us because the smoke and everything it really is harmful to them as well. But again it's a festival and it's everyone's personal choice

Celebrations shouldn't cause chaos

The Valley is one festival that everybody looks forward to from the start of the year that we decided in advance that we'll wear our Indian wear. On that day, we'll meet our friends and family and everybody is super excited. The vibe is really great. During the Valley, the festivities start to begin. You decorate your house with all the Diaz rungolis, but an age old practice of bursting crackers is still going on

So the couple of things that we can do in our day to day life itself, but we are so hesitant to do it and blame on a thing that is followed for a day or two instead of the things that we need to take her in a day to day life itself. You might be astonished why this much longer reply for just a pity thing, but this matters for us being from a background from a small town which is totally dependent on this one day

And I wish everybody understood that we're still in that zone where people have agreed to the fact that no to crackers. But this is valuable. So I could see tons of crackers being burst, tons of the Soutli bombs here. And there are tons of crackers there, but it's going to take a while. And I kind of even feel there are people who are running a business on these fire crackers
