Become More Resilient

article image placeholderUploaded by @AnneWille
Today I am talking about resilience. We tend to cope with the demands of life by chasing one deadline after the next. Always on the run to success. Resilience is nothing else but having enough energy to throughout the day like a car that can only run with fuel or a charge battery. We are taking care of people we love. We are taking care of our car. We are taking care of our pets. Why is it then so difficult for us to pause and to reenergize?

#kindness, #Perfectionism, #success, #resilience, #burn-out, #self-care

And also the things you say, I feel like just the way people communicate. If you're like yelling, obviously, somebody is not necessarily going to want to listen to you. But the way you are speaking, it just makes listeners definitely want to hear what you're saying. So thank you for this. He's are beautiful words and something I'm definitely considering as I go on with my day, but I'm excited to hear the rest of your posts now. Have a wonderful day

Thank you!

Hello. Thank you so much for your kind comment. I really appreciate it. I have started a podcast about loneliness. I have interviewed one person so far, but my goal is to interview more people. And I will also have another post on next week about resilience or self care. So thank you so much much for following me and have a great day. Bye

I have been busy - the standard respinsr

I really enjoyed what you were saying other about resilience. And I really agree with you. I often feel like when you ask somebody in this culture how they are, the acceptable and seemingly good response seems to be I am busy. I've been busy and sometimes I feel like that's actually maybe not the best approach and not a really maybe real response. It's more a non response

Hey, Kristen, I'm so with you on the taking a pause to think about not just taking a pause, but also the idea that we talk about being busy as a way to talk about our wellbeing, and it's just never, ever reflective of what a true sort of recharge needs to we need to recharge and being busy does not allow us to do that. So I'm with you on that. And thank you for this conversation. I think it's really critical

Hi, Ann, thank you so much for daring to say that we should take a pause in this society or world we live in, where rest is sort of looked down upon right. If you want to rest or you're tired, you're not working efficiently enough or you're deficient in some way versus sometimes you just need rest. And thank you again
