And surgery, particularly in the neck, is a pretty scary prospect that, again, has no guarantees of improving things and could end up putting me in a worse place where there's more pain. I was talking with a guy who had lung surgery, and while they were accessing his lungs, they had to open up space and, well, guess what? Now he's got nerve damage on his chest, his shoulders, and just terrible pain

Angela, I'm so sorry. Everything hurts. And I'm equally moved that you're looking for community to support you and to support the people that emerge. And I'm just hoping that through your speaking into the space, you find solace, you find connection, you find catharsis. All these things are necessary in treating the whole body. Not just the body that aches, but the the soul too
