When the horse isn't broken, they don't like for the saddle to be on them. When the horse isn't broken, if a fly pot flies past their eye on the side, they're going to turn and look at it. And so God was speaking to me through that and he was saying that sometimes he has to break us in order to make us more like Him
And so sometimes we kind of miss that. Like you said, we kind of miss that when God has called us to be a certain way, a gentle spirit, self control, all the fruit of the spirit, right? And that takes breaking. That takes breaking the breaking of our earthly perspective, breaking of us getting out of our emotions and our flesh and those things of that nature

It was good that he was afflicted so that he would know God's instruction, that he would be fully submitted to God because of the afflictions that he went through. And so it's necessary for us to go through these breaking experiences. It hurts. It's humbling, but hurtful at the same time. But like David said, it's good for us to be afflicted

That was a good way of analogy of really looking at what really happens when one gets broken and one can be submitted to God, living a life of submission. Amen. There's strength in submission. There's power in submission. There's love in submission. Amen. And so, again, I thank you for sharing the Scriptures with us. And also you elaborating on the Scriptures. Bless you, sister. Bless

And so they were talking about in there how a shepherd, if he has a sheep who keeps going astray the shepherd, will literally break one of the sheep's legs so that the shepherd has to carry the sheep until the leg mends. But while he's carrying the sheep, he's actually training the sheep to stay with the herd. Think about that. He breaks his leg in order to train him to stay with the rest of the flock
