What Is This Pandemic Doing To Our Psyche?

What is this pandemic doing to our psyche? What is all of this social distancing and everything else that we have to do to hopefully remain coronavirus free be doing to our psyche? What is the constant feeling of either I have a virus or someone thinks I have a virus doing to us? Think about it on a daily basis. We either act as if we have it or as if whomever we are going to come into contact with has it? What is that doing to our minds?

I invite you to read this in it’s entirety at www.thereadingcircleblog.blogspot.com

Gratitude 🙏

Hey Alan, lovely question. And I am going to say that what the pandemic has helped me with is to take a step back and really be thankful for what I have and appreciate what little things we have. So instead of perinelly looking into the horizon, I just look outside and feel grateful

Pandemic possibilities

So I think that, yes, there are a lot of cons that we've experienced with the pandemic, a lot of changes that are difficult, but in terms of getting us to think more communally about what's best for society and not just ourselves, that the pandemic has been a blessing and also the conversation around gratitude. I definitely feel that I think we're more grateful for the little things, grateful for being able to be outdoors or just to be out of the house

With Texas opening 100%, we may get a clue to our answer

I think that is going to come to a head. I think there's going to be some people that as they open up the bars and restaurants, 100% people may have a little bit too much to drink, and I think start getting a little mouth here. Unfortunately, I'm going to predict that we're going to see some videos from this weekend where people get confrontational. And I hope that's not the case
