Question 1: Daniel Craig or Sean Connery? Who is the best 007?

Everybody knows that sound right? I'm making a fool of myself. But that's how much I love James Bond, Sean Connery or Daniel Craig. This is the debate for James Bond fans. I think who is the better Bond? And why? Craig Connery classic Modern. You tell me

Sean...no doubts

Taylor, no doubt for me, I'm going original. I have to go Sean Connery. And, you know, I think Sean Connery brought a level of not only sophistication, but a little bit of humor into the role as well, and really kind of defined the role for years to come. And I think everybody else has just kind of tried to get to the level that he was at

Daniel Craig, by a whisker...

Hey, chills. That is a really tough one for me. I'm a huge Sean Connery fan, and he was the pinnacle of Bond for the longest time. But then Daniel Craig came along and and he's incredible too. So this is a tough call for me. But I think if I had to pick one, I will go with Daniel Craig. And the reason is I've read the original Ian Fleming novels as well

Hey, Taylor, great question for me. Without a doubt it's Sean Connery. He was the originator Bond, and no one said I'll have a Martini shaken, not stirred quite like him. He just bought a sufficient sophistication like that other gentleman said in a class and suavenus and swag to agent unlike any other

I personally refuse to pick different day, different bond. You know the world is my oyster when it comes to bonds

Craig just saying that because I think he has more regard for women. And I think Sean Connery was just too stuck in the objectivity of women. I didn't like his vibe. Call me a feminist. Go for it. Capital F. Daniel Craig

Question 2: Which is the BEST Star Wars movie?

All right. We got a lot of great replies here. It looks as though Daniel Craig slightly edges out Sean Connery. But I think Bowie's right. Different day, different Bond. So let's move on to the next question. This one's going to have to do with with Star Wars, because today's may the fourth and of course, may the fourth be with you. So which is the best Star Wars movies? And why think really long and hard about this one, folks?

The original

You might see a pattern with me here, but I'm going to go original again. I mean, the first Star Wars is just iconic. Just absolutely iconic. I don't think there was anything like it before it and it has captured the attention and imagination of people this many years afterwards. And just the character definition of everybody right away. You just knew who everybody was. And it just really was a great story to be told. As far as cinematography, there might be something better

My son answers this one :)

Hey, Taylor, I'm gonna let my son respond to this question because he is the local Star Wars expert. Here. Go ahead. I see Revenge of the Sith because it fits into the storyline very well, explains a lot and really just puts together all the movies, in my opinion

The accent is absolutely fabulous, but everything from that just seems that it just worked for that time. So that's my opinion. I'll be interested to see who else is in line in terms of playing Bond. Honestly, I would have liked to see him Daniel Craig play the same role in other upcoming pills. But I'm not the one who owns the franchise

But I wanted to just be a voice here and say if I don't remember all the others and all the orders and all the way they titled them and the different characters, it's probably because I sort of subconsciously just love the first one. So maybe that's a lame answer, but the first one Yay

#3: What film did you watch/re-discover during the pandemic that you loved

A New Hope is a fantastic answer. And I think it would be the answer that many people give. But I need to give a special shout out to ours'son who gave a just brilliant answer with Revenge of the Sith. I think that's a sleeper. And I remember it vividly. I played Had hooky from school that day, and I went with my dad and my brother, and it was really sort of a transcendental experience for a young Taylor. So great answers, everybody

Glengarry Glen Ross

In that endless scroll to find something to watch over the pandemic. I came across a movie I hadn't seen in a long time. It's actually a play made into a movie. David Mamet's, Glengarry Glen Ross and it was just really action packed with a lot of a lot of great actors. And there's just a couple of scenes in there that are just iconic. And it's really a quick movie, too. So it's really a nice quick watch

The Godfather

So, for instance, I read somewhere that the iconic first scene where The Godfather is seen playing with a cat while speaking to a guest at his daughter's wedding and where he comes up with that epic dialogue. It was all an improvisation and wasn't planned at all. So yeah, I think that's what makes the film epic. And I rediscovered it and loved it as always

Nomadland

Oh my goodness. This watch Slash Rediscover question is tricky because I feel like I've watched a lot of good stuff and also rewatched a lot of good stuff. But honestly, Nomadland is still sticking out to me the most other first thing that comes to mind, and I think it's because I haven't seen a film that just reminded me so much of when I first discovered independent cinema in my youth and also made me want to rewatch it and have a long term relationship with it

I rewatched The Usual Suspects with Kevin Spacey and Benicio Del Toro and Gabriel Byrne. I can watch that every year. It is one of the most well put together stories. I was with somebody who never saw it, and I was so excited to watch it with her. If you haven't watched The Usual Suspects lately, you need to because it's just epic filmmaking. Classic. Kevin Spacey is just still. Whatever his current status is, he was a classic enigma

@DBPardes + my pick is Midway (2019)

I was surprised I went in with very low expectations, and I was really amazed at the execution of the movies, like great movie making in terms of special effects, sound, fighter plane sequences are really epic. So I had a lot of fun, I think probably because I went in with such low expectations, but it was just a revelation to me. So it's pure popcorn, munching, time pass. Movies, entertainment. What Hollywood does really well

#4: What is your favorite film adaptation of a book? Book or film?

Wow. There are some really great choices here. I've actually not seen all of these films, so I have a couple of new films to add to my list. All right. We have question number four, what is your favorite movie adaptation of a book? And in your opinion, in was the book better? Or was the movies better
@arish

@arish · 0:07

LOTR

This is an easy one. Peter Jackson, Lord of the Rings Trilogy. And the book was far better

Bourne series

I will agree with other Lord of the Rings, but I also have another favorite, which is The Bone Series, Jason Bone. And in that one I think the movies is better. I've read they're amazing, but I think Matt Damon is Matt Damon
