So the TRP increases. Some channels are creating paid news. This type of commercialization of media is causing decline in media standards. Many new channels are in the hands of a few corporations. Contacts between politician and businessmen are resulting in broadcasting based news by many channels. By broadcasting based on paid news, the media is making people politically polarized. The media should give information to common people without fear. But in some countries government controlled media by censoring news that affect the ruling party's reputation
Here the Piers first of all that's it I mean you pointed out a lot of things in the film which I accept all of this this is the fake news these really serious issues that we are not talking much about that's there but because of these many we don't know which is true and which is not true right now you know what I mean right seriously sometimes should I trust the government or not with some news say this politics is good some news try to prove that this politician is not good so ultimately I personally don't know who is what because of this and sometimes news try to divert that topic so much that instead of giving updates and important news they just give some kind of s***** news which is completely not okay with me I don't know many people know this but a sea which was supposed to be the fourth largest Lake in the world which was supposed to be in the sense which was actually once in 1960 times it's now disappeared and I never seen this article anywhere except in BBC and I don't think any Indian channel covered it if it was I would have got to know seriously that's a huge issue and we don't know anything about it that's one of the examples where you don't get the important news as also useful way to let people know and that should be something it's strengthens to the democracy but right now it's actually weakening the democracy which is actually bad and we really need a change in the media first of all we should take off the list of the news channels which are run by the I'm not one politician because if there is a politician channel it is wrong that's what I see so yeah we should start off with that and the second thing obviously make it a lot stricter should be a lot more effective ways of radiating that's my thought on this
