ADHD and being a Dad

article image placeholderUploaded by @ADHDad
I don't feel at home unless I'm doing three or four things at once. It just feels unnatural. I got to remember that my one year old needs one thing in front of her at a time

Or if he does something wrong, we try to get him to explain what happened, how he could do better. And oftentimes I'll be like, just say so many things at him, and then he'll be like, I didn't get all of that. And then just, like, finding ways to talk where it's not like this thing, this thing, this thing. It's like I am just talking to make one point

And it's something I really don't want to transmit onto my child or work into their daily routine. So this is a really good reminder and a simple reminder. You set it in under 15 seconds. Be directed and keep it simple. Don't Wang to add any frenzy to the life of a baby, which is already probably incredibly crazy if we're looking at it from their perspective. Anyways, take care

My ten year old thinks he's just the hot s*** and my six year old is now learning attitude. So they really mean it when they say your kids will be ten times worse than you were when you're a kid and that is your payback. Luckily, my kids get a loving mother and father and they got what I never got. So if you have any questions and I'm sorry if it's all over the place, I'm kind of all over the place right now

Hey, Tim, I like the picture, man. I don't have children, but I have a niece and nephew and trying to get them to focus on just the one thing is an adventure in its itself, but it's kind of like watching a YouTube video and you're focused on watching that one video. But then if you look at the side, you will see a bunch of recommended videos that look much better than the video that you're currently watching
