Living in the moment, confidence and a little boy’s dancing

article image placeholderUploaded by @aBirdieOnaWire
And in Tee ball, there's no pitcher or someone throwing the ball towards the person trying to hit it. The ball is intended for very young children and the ball is placed on something called a T. It's like this little plastic support where the ball can rest on it and the child can kind of take their time as they try and hit the ball. Because a lot of times those young children, they don't quite have hand eye coordination down just yet

A viral video of a little boy dancing up to home plate has me contemplating why, how and when I stopped being that way.

And I hope he never feels like he can't do that. And my only hope is that no one snatches him up and brings them into the limelight, because that's not what he needs now. He needs to be a little boy, and I hope he stays like a little boy and safe. Of course, in this crazy world we're living in right now, your timing couldn't be better. Thank you so much for sharing this

So I really like the point you bring up because I really think if we all could just be a kid sometimes, maybe it would help a lot of people be more themselves, maybe find joy in more things. And I don't mean things like physical things, but just find joy and more experiences. And I feel like we've just gotten so caught up with trying to do right, always being productive, always do this work, go, you know, just do everything right

And I definitely know that I've done lots of ridiculous things as a kid. I just really enjoyed doing. But I think that I've always felt a little bit kind of aware of myself, and that's why hearing the mom talk about her goofiness and potentially that kind of being contagious. I really loved that because I think as a kid, I wasn't very much allowed to express myself that freely. I don't know

Hi, Ryan. Thanks. This is a great talk and question. I once heard an artist say that what he does is when he paints art. He never paints for anyone else except himself and his audience is himself. So I'm a musician and lately I've been doing a lot of really strange experimental music along with healing music. And I have been invited to go play at a farmer's market

@aBirdieOnaWire Language, worth, perceptions, conformity, etc.

If we're speaking about the individual, I think that just as children are conditioned into adulthood of how we should perceive ourselves, how we should present ourselves, then we can also condition ourselves out of that behavior. We can change the way that we see ourselves, the language that we use, because there's no winning, right? You're always going to make somebody think you're arrogant, even if it's confidence that they're actually seeing
