And it was such a problem that Kodak altered their supply chain and carefully selected a few paper Mills where they could control the raw materials and make sure there was no radium. One of these Mills was in Vincent, Indiana, on the coast of the Wabash River, and it made strawboard, which was inserted between the sheets of Xray film. Now for months, the starboard was working perfectly until a batch manufactured on August 6, 1945, started to cause posture appear on the Xray film
