     Intelligent, residual or poltergeist? Which do you have? 

           ...these are the three types of hauntings...

 I. An Intelligent haunting is a haunting in which the afflicting spirit can and will interact and often communicate with the client and/or investigators.

 II. A Residual haunting is activity stuck in a "loop". Playing itself over and over. It does not know you are there. This kind of haunting will occur whether you are there to witness it or not, occurring at the same time and/or day and is the most common type of haunting.

 III. A Poltergeist haunting includes activity such as objects moving and disruption of everyday life. Possibly involved around an individual or individuals. More of an entity that means harm or simply just to annoy or create dis-order.

 .Before each case we will research any and all history of the location. This may help solidify any claims of activity.

 .During our initial walk-thru and tour with the client we will conduct an EMF ( Electro Magnetic Field ) sweep both inside and out to detect any high fields that may be causing any side effects or adding to the possibility of paranormal activity.

  ! Fun fact: Side effects of being exposed to high EMF for any period of time include skin irritation, paranoia, fatigue, hallucinations, nausea and feelings of being watched. Commonly known as "EMF hyper-sensitivity" and referred to as the "fear cage" effect. Next time you have an experience stop to see if you are in an enclosed area near anything electrical that could be giving off a high EMF.

 ! Fun theory: Ghosts or spirits are said to be able to  use the energy from EMFs thus increasing the chances of a haunting. And give off an EMF reading when present.

 .A team sensitive will then do a walk-thru of the entire location to see if any strange or un-easy feelings are picked up on. The sensitive will have no prior knowledge of any details or information about the case or claims.

 .We will have infrared DVR cameras set up near any "hot spots" recording the entire investigation.

 .Teams of investigators will then spend the night attempting to make contact by conducting EVP sessions thru-out the location ( See our EVP page for more details ). Taunting or provoking a spirit while trying to make contact can help induce activity (done at your own risk ). EMF detectors are brought along and used to find any un-explained spikes in the EM field that weren`t detected earlier. This could represent a possible presence. A digital thermometer is used to find any "cold spots" or fluctuations in the temperature. We often have motion detectors set up away from the investigators to pick up on any movement. We also use a laser grid to detect any "unsee-able" shadows and a full spectrum camera that takes pictures within other levels of light. We will have trigger objects with us that coincide with the claims of activity to try and bring out an entity as well. Using  the "Frank`s Box" or "Spirit Box" which works with white noise our investigators will try to talk directly to any spirits at the location.  Plus different and certain experiments will be conducted accordingly.

 561 Paranormal also works with a very close friend and local Reiki Master. Which thru his abilities can strongly offer the possibly of removing any spirits.

  .All of which is video taped, photographed and documented.

 .After our investigation and analysis of the evidence we will present any un-explained or strange footage we captured. We will also provide "other" explanations for what is perceived to be paranormal activity ( or de-bunking ).

 .Being a part of the Online Paranormal Family we network with many others like ourselves. If another opinion is warranted or outside help is suggested or needed we have many resources to get you the help you need. We encourage working with other teams and sharing important information (i.e. prior investigations) if beneficial to you the client.

 .An open line of communication and un-conditional availability to return and further investigate if activity persists. If we believe there to be a real paranormal presence our main goal will be to discover identities and intentions of what is there. More than one investigation may be needed...

Cases are usually given a three week notice but arrangements are made judged by the seriousness of the activity. A waver will be signed before each case by both the client and 561 Paranormal to protect all rights (required).
